Wyra Calling lets you dial a prospect directly from inside the contact drawer in Interactions — no separate dialer, no copy-paste, no switching tools. Request beta access, get a Wyra number, and dial straight from your browser while the full prospect profile and conversation thread stay in view.
What calling is
An in-browser dialer built into the lead drawer.
When calling is enabled on your account, open any lead in Interactions and the dialer appears inside the contact drawer alongside the Messages, Insights, and Notes tabs. Dial, talk, end — the call connects through your computer's mic and speakers; no phone hardware needed. The rep is the one on the call — Wyra does not autonomously dial or speak.
Beta and access
Calling is in beta at launch — access is granted by the Wyra team.
Access is gated and granted on a per-account basis. The Wyra team reviews each request before enabling — soft limits will be communicated to you when calling is turned on.
Requesting access
- In Interactions, open any lead to bring up the contact drawer.
- Click the Phone icon. If you don't have access yet, a request modal opens.
- Submit your request. While the review is pending, the Phone icon shows a small clock badge.
- Once the Wyra team enables calling for your account, the dialer becomes available inside the drawer — and you'll receive a confirmation with the soft limits for your account.
Geography
US numbers at launch — more geographies are rolling out.
At launch, calling supports US numbers only. Wyra is actively expanding coverage — when additional geographies become available, they'll be announced in the Changelog and turned on for accounts that already have beta access.
How a call works
Open the lead, dial, talk.
Open the lead in Interactions
Click any prospect to bring up the contact drawer. The Phone dialer card sits alongside the Messages and Insights tabs.
Dial
If Wyra found a phone number for the lead during enrichment, it’s pre-filled. If not, you’ll be prompted to reveal one. Click Call.
Talk
The call connects through your browser. Mute, unmute, or open a keypad for IVR navigation — the controls are right there on the dialer card.
End the call
Click End. A short post-call modal appears for an optional rating and comment so you can keep notes on call quality over time.
Mic permission
Your browser will ask for microphone access the first time you try to call. If you accidentally deny it, the dialer shows a warning with a Retry button so you can grant permission and try again.
What the prospect sees
The AI SDR's number shows as caller ID.
Calls are placed from the assigned AI SDR's provisioned number, so the prospect's phone displays the same number associated with the AI SDR's email and LinkedIn outreach. The human rep is on the call — Wyra never dials, listens, or speaks autonomously.
Why calling stays human-led
Regulations around AI-initiated calls vary across regions and people prefer speaking to people. Wyra does the research and makes the dial effortless — your team brings the conversation.
