Tags are short labels your team puts on leads, such as "Champion" or "Budget frozen". You set up the list once under Settings → Tags, and everyone applies the same tags in Interactions, so a tag means the same thing to the whole team. Tags are for your own reviews and reporting, and outreach carries on as planned whatever the tag.

The tag list

Org Admins and Campaign Managers manage the list under Settings → Tags. Everyone else who works with leads can see it and apply the tags.

Every workspace starts with seven tags from Wyra: Wrong person, Bad timing — revisit, Budget frozen, Competitor in place, Champion, Pricing discussed, and Do not contact. You can rename or archive them like any other. A workspace can have up to 25 active tags. The list shows how many prospects carry each tag and who created it.

Creating, renaming and archiving

  • Create tag: give it a name of up to 30 characters. Each active tag needs its own name.
  • Rename: the new name shows everywhere the tag is already used.
  • Archive: takes a tag out of the picker. Leads that already carry it keep it. Turn on Show archived to see it again, then Restore it.

Tagging leads in Interactions

  • From the list: hover a lead's Tags cell and click +.
  • From the lead's profile: click + Tag in the tag strip.

A lead can carry as many tags as you like. Hover a tag to see who applied it and when. To take it off, hover it and click ×.

Filtering by tag

In Interactions, the Tags filter has two modes. Include shows leads with any of the selected tags. Exclude hides them. Archived tags are still listed, so leads tagged before a tag was archived still show up.

Tracking tags on your Dashboard

Ask Wyra in Chat how many leads carry a tag, including the custom tags your team created, for example "How many leads are tagged Champion?" Click Add to Dashboard on the card, and the count stays live on your Overview. See Metrics and dashboards from Chat.

A tag is a label, not a switch. A tag never changes a lead's status or stops outreach. To keep someone out of all outreach, add their email or domain to the Unsubscribe list. If they're already in a campaign, also click Do not disturb on them in Interactions.
