AI SDRs live under Settings → AI SDRs. An Org Admin adds the person and checks their profile. The person connects their own LinkedIn and adds a scheduling link. Wyra sets up their mailboxes and domains for you.
1. Add the AI SDR
Only Org Admins can add AI SDRs. Click the add card (Let's Build Your First AI SDR, or Room for One More! once you have one) and enter the person's business email. Personal addresses such as Gmail or Outlook aren't accepted.
- If they're already a member of your workspace, a LinkedIn URL field appears. Paste their personal profile URL (linkedin.com/in/…) and click Submit. Wyra fills in their name, title, photo and location from LinkedIn.
- If they're not a member, click Invite Team Member. See Inviting a colleague below.
Each email address and LinkedIn profile can belong to only one AI SDR.
2. Check the profile
Click the gear on the card to open Configure AI SDR. Everything here is what prospects see, so make it accurate:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name, Professional Title, Company | As they should appear in outreach. |
| Email, Phone, Location | The person's contact details and where they're based. |
| LinkedIn URL | Their personal profile. |
| Meeting Scheduling Link | Their booking page. See step 4. |
| Photo | Up to 1MB. |
| Signature | How their emails sign off. At least 3 characters of text. |
Click Update SDR to save. If you open someone else's AI SDR, you may see a read-only AI SDR Settings window instead.
3. Connect LinkedIn
The AI SDR connects their own LinkedIn. It uses their own sign-in details, so each AI SDR does it themselves. They click Connect next to LinkedIn on their card, and Wyra asks for:
- LinkedIn email and password: the ones the person signs in to LinkedIn with.
- Country: where the person normally uses LinkedIn from.
- 2FA Secret Key: explained below.
Getting the 2FA secret key
Two-step verification makes LinkedIn ask for a six-digit code from an app on your phone when you sign in. The secret key is the code that sets up that app. Giving it to Wyra lets it produce the same codes, so it can sign in as the AI SDR on its own.
- In LinkedIn, open Settings & Privacy → Sign in & security → Two-step verification, and turn it on.
- Choose an authenticator app as the method, and confirm your password.
- LinkedIn shows a QR code with a secret key beneath it. Copy the key. Then scan the QR code with your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator), or type the key into it.
- Enter the code your app shows to finish turning on two-step verification.
- Paste the key into the 2FA Secret Key field in Wyra.
The form's How to get your 2FA Secret Key? link walks through the same steps. If two-step verification is already on with text messages, switch the method to an authenticator app to get a key.
While Wyra connects, the card shows the connection in progress. If it fails, the card says so: click to retry and check the email, password and key.
4. Add a scheduling link
Click Connect next to the calendar on the card and paste the person's booking link, such as a Calendly or HubSpot meetings page. When a prospect wants to talk, Wyra sends this link.
What the card tells you
| Card shows | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ready to Engage! | Set up and ready to be picked for a campaign. |
| Campaign in Progress | Sending for at least one campaign. The card also counts the leads it has engaged. |
| LinkedIn connecting or failed | Connection under way, or it needs another try. |
| Invitation sent | Waiting for the colleague to accept. |
| Deactivating · N days left | Being shut down. See below. |
| Deactivated | Shut down for good. |
Inviting a colleague
To make someone outside your workspace an AI SDR, enter their business email on the add card and click Invite Team Member. They get an email invitation, valid for 7 days. Once they accept, they connect their own LinkedIn and check their profile. Their card shows Invitation sent until then.
If an invitation expires, resend it from Settings → Members. The add card shows for Org Admins.
Seats
Each AI SDR uses one seat, and your subscription sets how many you have. When every seat is used, the add card changes to Need more AI SDRs?. Someone with access to billing can add seats.
Deactivating an AI SDR
Go to Settings → Members, open the person's menu and choose Deactivate AI SDR. Wyra emails a 6-digit code. Enter it to confirm.
- No new campaigns can use this AI SDR.
- In the campaigns it's already part of, Wyra stops selecting new prospects for it. People already mid-sequence still get their follow-ups.
- After 14 days, the AI SDR is fully deactivated, and its mailboxes, domains and phone number are released permanently. The card counts the days down.
- Its seat is free straight away, so you can add another AI SDR.
- It can't be undone. There's no reactivation.
