Opportunities are the deals in your Wyra CRM. You see them as a board with one column per stage, open each one on its own page, and move it forward as the deal progresses. Pipelines set the stages a deal moves through, the currencies it's priced in, and the tasks each stage brings with it.
Board and list
One pipeline at a time, as a board or a list.
Open CRM → Opportunities in the left sidebar. CRM carries a Beta badge. The page title is the pipeline you're looking at. When your workspace has more than one pipeline, click the title to switch, and each pipeline in the menu shows how many deals it holds. The board opens on your default pipeline, and the pipeline you pick is part of the page link, so you can send someone the exact board you're looking at.
Two buttons in the search bar switch between Grid view (the board) and List view. Wyra remembers which one you used last.
Grid view
One column per stage
Each column header shows the stage, how many deals are in it, and the total of their amounts, plus a note like “3 without an amount” when some deals have no amount yet. Each card shows the deal name, its point of contact, the amount, the close date, the company, and its task progress (for example 2/5 tasks). Click the task count to see the tasks for the deal's current stage and tick them off without leaving the board.
List view
A flat table of every deal
Columns for Name, Stage, Status, Amount, Close date and Company, with Created by and Creation date in the column picker. Click a name, amount or close date to edit it in place. Status shows AWS review status and only fills in when your workspace is connected to AWS.
Search looks across all your opportunities, not just the ones loaded on screen.
On the board, the Columns button hides and shows stage columns, and Show all brings them back. Drag a column header to reorder the columns. Both choices are saved in your browser and only change your own view.
A close date that has passed turns red on the card, and one that falls today turns amber. Deals in a won or lost stage don't get these colors.
No pipeline yet?
A workspace needs a pipeline before it can hold deals. If you don't have one, the Opportunities page asks you to create one under Settings. See Pipelines below.
Create an opportunity
One click, then fill it in on its own page.
Click New Opportunity. Wyra creates an Untitleddeal in the first stage of the pipeline you're viewing and opens its page, so there's no form to fill in first.
Type a name where it says Name this opportunity
Until you do, the deal shows as Untitled on the board
Pick the Company, then the Point of contact
Point of contact stays locked until a company is chosen, and only lists that company's people. If the company isn't in your CRM yet, you can create it from the picker
Add the Amount and Close date
Amount is the total value of the deal to you
Set the Owner and add a Description
Every field saves as soon as you leave it
You can also start a deal from elsewhere in the CRM. New opportunityon a company's page creates one for that company. On a person's page it creates one with their company selected and the person already set as point of contact. On an opportunity's own page, New opportunity starts the next deal in the same pipeline.
Moving through stages
Drag the card, or change the stage on the page.
On the board, drag a card into another column to move the deal to that stage. On the opportunity's page, change the Stagefield. Both are recorded in the deal's Stage History.
If the deal still has open tasks in the stage it's leaving, the board stops and shows Tasks incomplete in that stage, listing each open task and who owns it. Click Move anyway to move it regardless, or Cancel to leave it where it is.
When a deal reaches a stage, it picks up that stage's tasks automatically. See Stage task templates.
To move a deal to a different pipeline, change its Pipeline field. The stage clears at the same time, because each pipeline has its own stages, so pick a new stage straight after.
The opportunity page
Details on the left, the work on the right.
Click any card or row to open the deal. The left column holds its fields: Pipeline, Stage, Amount, Close date, Company, Point of contact, Website, Location, Owner and Description. Website is saved to the linked company, so it's the same wherever that company appears. Delete sits at the bottom and asks you to confirm, because deleting is permanent.
On the right, a collapsible Overview answers three questions at a glance. Folded, it shrinks to one line: stage, amount and next task.
Where
The current stage with a progress bar across the pipeline, days in stage, deal age, and the last touch. A deal that has sat in an open stage for 14 days or more is marked Stalled.
Worth
The amount, Win likelihood (the stage's probability), the Weighted value (amount × probability), and the close date, with a Slipped badge once that date has passed.
Next
The next open task and when it's due, how many tasks are open (with overdue and high-priority counts), and the next scheduled event.
Win likelihood says “Not set”?
That stage has no probability yet, so there's no weighted value either. Give the stage a probability in Settings (see Stages) and every deal in it picks the number up.
The tabs
Activity, Notes, Stage History, Files and AWS.
Below the overview, a row of tabs holds everything that happens on the deal.
Activity
Four views: Timeline (everything that has happened on the deal), Tasks (grouped by stage, with the stages still ahead shown as a preview), Events and Calls. Use + Task, + Event and + Call to add one.
Notes
Your team's notes on the deal. Notes can carry links and attachments, and deleting one asks you to confirm.
Stage History
Every stage the deal has been in: the stage, the amount at the time, how many days it stayed, and who moved it there. It starts when the deal first gets a stage.
Files
Contracts, decks and briefs for the deal. Click Upload file (up to 10 MB per file), then select a file to preview, download or delete it. Files attached to a task show which task they came from.
AWS
Co-sell with AWS Partner Central. Covered briefly below.
Azure and GCP
Microsoft and Google co-sell. Both show Coming soon for now, and nothing can be shared from these tabs yet.
Working a deal's tasks (ticking them off, marking one Not required, reassigning it, commenting) is covered in CRM tasks.
The AWS tab, in short
If your workspace isn't connected to AWS Partner Central, the tab shows what co-selling would add and a Co-sell with AWS button that takes you to Settings → Integrations.
Once you're connected, the tab holds the co-sell form for this deal, and Push to AWS sends it to AWS.
If AWS reports a different stage from yours, a banner at the top of the page says so, so you can reconcile the two.
Pipelines
Each team's own set of stages.
Go to Settings → CRM Settings → Pipelines, or click the pipeline title on the board and choose Manage pipelines. Each pipeline is a card listing its stages and each stage's probability. Click a card to open it.
Click New team pipeline
For example Enterprise, Renewals or Partner-sourced
Enter a Pipeline name and choose its Currencies
USD is there to start with. The starred currency is the one new deals in this pipeline are priced in
Click Create pipeline
It starts with two stages, Closed Won (100%) and Closed Lost (0%). Add the stages in between yourself
The default pipeline is marked with a filled star and a Default badge. It's the pipeline the board opens on and the one new opportunities start on. To change it, click the empty star on another pipeline, either on its card or inside it.
Rename a pipeline by editing its name at the top of the pipeline page.
Currencies sit in the same header. Click Currency to add one: search for it, then enter its exchange rate as “1 $ =” that many units (USD is the base and needs no rate). Hover a currency to see its rate. Click the star on a currency to make it the primary. To remove the primary, make a different currency the primary first.
On a deal, the Amountfield has a currency dropdown that offers the currencies of the deal's pipeline, with the primary first.
Stages
Add, describe and order the stages.
Inside a pipeline, the Stages list runs down the left. Select a stage to see its details and task templates on the right. Click Add stage to create a stage, or open a stage's ⋯ menu and choose Edit. Adding and editing use the same dialog.
Stage name
Up to 60 characters. Each stage name can only be used once in a pipeline.
Probability
10% to 90% for open stages. Won (100%) and Lost (0%) mark a stage as closed. This is what Win likelihood and Weighted use on the deal's overview.
Stage color
Pick a swatch or a custom color. It colors the stage's column and dot everywhere the stage appears.
Stage description
Your exit criteria, in one line: “What has to be true for a deal to sit here?” It shows under the stage name in settings.
Reorder by dragging a stage by its grip handle in the Stages list. This sets the stage order for everyone, and it's the order the board's columns start in.
AWS stage mapping. Beside the selected stage's name, a chip reads Not mapped or shows the AWS co-sell stage it stands for. Click it to pick the matching AWS stage. Mapping on its own doesn't change anything in AWS Partner Central. See Co-selling with AWS.
Stage task templates
The checklist every deal gets at each stage.
Each stage can hold a numbered list of tasks. When a deal reaches that stage, Wyra adds those tasks to the deal automatically, so every rep works the same steps.
Select a stage and click Add task to this stage
Give it a name and, if you like, a description
Optionally set Depends on to another task in the same stage
The task then shows as coming after that one
Choose an owner: switch between team and member, then pick one
You can create a new CRM team right from the owner picker
A new task template is also added straight away to open deals already in that stage or a later one. Wyra tells you how many, for example Added to 4 open deals. Deals in a won or lost stage aren't given new work.
A deal that jumps ahead still picks up the tasks of every stage up to and including the one it lands in.
Editing or deleting a template only affects deals that reach the stage afterwards. Tasks already on a deal keep their title, description and owner.
Deleting pipelines and stages
Deals are never deleted along with them.
Delete a pipeline
Use the trash icon at the top of the pipeline page. While the pipeline still holds opportunities, the icon is disabled and tells you to move them to another pipeline first. You do that by changing each deal's Pipeline field. Once it's empty, deleting removes the pipeline and its stages for the whole workspace, and it can't be undone.
Delete a stage
Open the stage's ⋯ menu and choose Delete. It happens straight away, with no confirmation. A stage that still holds opportunities can't be deleted, so move those deals to another stage first. A pipeline's last remaining stage can't be deleted either. The stage's task templates go with it, and any open tasks created from them are marked as skipped. Completed tasks stay done.
Who can do what
Deals and pipeline settings have separate permissions.
What you can do with deals and what you can do in Pipelines settings depend on your role. If you don't have permission for something, its button doesn't appear.
