Set-up: telling Wyra about your business

Last updated October 2026

On this page

Set-up is where you tell Wyra the things only you can confirm: what you sell, who you sell to, which customers it may mention, and how you go to market. It takes about as long as briefing a new salesperson, and it shapes everything Wyra does afterwards.

Why it matters

Wyra reads your website, but a website is written for buyers. It lists every service, names customers you may prefer to keep private, and rarely says which markets you actually pursue. Set-up turns what Wyra read into what you mean:

  • Market trends are matched to what you sell, in the segments and countries you serve.
  • Reach counts the accounts that fit your profile, so campaigns aim at real buyers.
  • Outreach names only the customers you've allowed, and cites only credentials you hold.

How the Set-up tab works

Open Company → Intelligence and click the Set-up tab. The sections are listed on the left, with a tick on each one that's done and a progress bar at the top. Click a section to open it on the right.

  1. Each section starts with a sentence saying what Wyra has already found, so you start by reviewing.
  2. Tick what's right. Wyra's suggestions show greyed, with the reason beside them. Remove anything irrelevant, and type your own where the section allows it (separate several with commas).
  3. Click Save. Each section saves on its own, shows who saved it, and Wyra moves you to the next one that's still open.

Some sections offer Not applicable, for example if you have no cloud partners. One click marks the section done, with Undo in the message if you clicked it by mistake.

You can finish over several sittings. Whatever is left waits on the tab, and the Overview shows Complete set-up · N of M until it's done. When every section is done, the tab is renamed Profile. You can come back and change any section at any time.

Set-up is completed by people with the Org Admin or Settings Manager role. Everyone else can see it.

The sections

What you sell and to whom

SectionWhat you tell Wyra
What you sellTick the services from your site that you actually sell, and add any that are missing. Wyra matches trends and campaigns only to these.
Segments you serveThe industries you sell into. Keep ticked only the ones you pursue, even if a customer happens to be in another.
Company scaleThe size of companies you sell to: Startup, Small and medium businesses, Mid-market, Enterprise or Large enterprise. You can also choose an employee range and a revenue range.
Markets you sell toThe countries you sell in. Type a region to add its countries.

Proof

SectionWhat you tell Wyra
Referenceable customersFor each customer Wyra found, whether outreach may mention them: By name, Without the name, No, or Not a customer. The section is done once you've decided on at least three. See Referenceable customers and proof.
Partner profilesFor each cloud partner (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft or another), paste the link to your page in their partner directory, and your marketplace listing if you have one. An example of the right kind of page shows in the box. If you're a partner without a public page, or not their partner at all, choose the option that says so.
CredentialsTick the competencies, designations and certifications you hold, and add any that are missing. Outreach only cites credentials you've confirmed.

When you paste a partner link, Wyra reads the page and shows its progress beside it. If a page couldn't be read, check the link and click Read again. Wyra reads public pages only, so paste your public page.

Go to market

SectionWhat you tell Wyra
How you sellDirect, through partners, through a cloud marketplace, or a mix of these. You can type your own description. For each marketplace, paste your listing or mark it Not listed.
Untick with care. When you save a section, Wyra keeps what you ticked and stops using what you left unticked. Trends and Reach use only the segments you tick.

After set-up

Set-up is a starting point. Wyra keeps learning from your website, your artifacts and your campaigns, and asks you when it hits a conflict or needs to understand something. Those questions appear on the Overview; see Wyra's questions.
