How Wyra works: Chat, approvals and the screens

Wyra is built to do the work for you, inside rules you set. Three ideas explain almost everything you'll see.

  1. You work with Wyra in Chat. Ask in plain language, the way you'd brief a colleague.
  2. You approve every change. When Wyra wants to create or change something, it shows you a card first.
  3. Wyra runs what you've approved, and hands the rest to you. Outreach and replies run on their own. Anything outside what you've taught Wyra comes back to a person.

Working in Chat

Open Chat from the left-hand menu. Each conversation is a thread, and you can come back to any of them; search them with ⌘K. You can type or use voice input.

Ask in plain words. Some things people ask every day:

  • "Build an offering for our cloud migration assessment, aimed at healthcare CIOs."
  • "Plan a campaign for that offering in the US and Canada, email and LinkedIn."
  • "Show me three real people this campaign would reach, and what we'd say to each."
  • "Pull up everything we've exchanged with Priya at Northwind and draft a reply."
  • "How did last month's campaigns do?"
  • "Move the Contoso opportunity to Proposal and add a note from today's call."
  • "Summarise yesterday's meeting with Acme and list the action items."

Wyra looks things up as it goes: your offerings, campaigns, leads, CRM, meetings and uploaded documents, and public web pages you point it to. It tells you what it's checking, so you can see where an answer came from.

Approval cards

Whenever Wyra wants to change something, such as creating an offering, saving or launching a campaign, or updating an opportunity, it first shows you a card with exactly what it proposes.

  • Approve (on some cards, Approve & save or Approve plan) makes the change. That's the only moment anything is created, sent or updated.
  • Want something different? Just say so in Chat ("make the tone warmer", "drop Canada"). Wyra revises the same card, and you approve when it's right.
  • Discard drops the card and leaves everything as it was.

Replies to prospects work slightly differently. Wyra drafts the reply in Chat, and Reply opens your message box with the text filled in, so you send it yourself.

Wyra looks things up straight away, across anything you have access to.

Some approvals are final. An approved offering is locked, because campaigns depend on it staying as it was. To change an offering later, ask Wyra to start a new one from it. Launching a campaign starts outreach to real people, so read the launch card carefully.

Wyra respects your role. You'll only see cards for changes your role is allowed to make. If you ask for something outside your role, Wyra tells you who can do it.

What runs on its own, and when Wyra hands it to you

Once you approve a campaign, Wyra runs it: it selects and qualifies prospects, writes each message for that person, sends on your AI SDRs' schedules, and follows up.

When prospects reply, Wyra reads every reply and sorts it:

ReplyWhat Wyra does
InterestedFollows up. If the prospect wants to talk, it sends your AI SDR's calendar link.
Not interestedSends a polite acknowledgement and closes the lead.
Out of officeStops emailing them. LinkedIn carries on as planned.
UnsubscribeStops all outreach to that person and adds their email address to the Unsubscribe list.
Action requiredAlerts you and leaves the reply to you.

Wyra answers questions about your product or pricing on its own only when your offering covers the answer. That's why a complete offering, with clear objection handling, matters so much. Anything outside what you've given it becomes Action required. So does anything that needs judgement: a referral to a colleague, "try me next quarter", a conditional yes.

You'll get an email and an in-app notification, and a reminder if it's still waiting a couple of days later. Work these from the Action required filter in Interactions: reply yourself, or Resolve it as interested or not interested.

Prefer to answer every reply yourself? Turn off auto-replies for a campaign (Stop auto-replies on the campaign page, or ask Wyra in Chat). Wyra still sorts every reply and alerts you, and you send every answer yourself.

When to use the screens

Chat is the quickest way to get most things done, but the screens are always there:

ScreenUse it to
DashboardSee results across email, LinkedIn and calls at a glance.
InteractionsWork through replies and Action required, call prospects, add notes and tags.
MeetingsSee upcoming and past meetings, read summaries, review suggested CRM updates.
OutreachBrowse campaigns and offerings, and use the step-by-step campaign builder.
CRMWork your pipeline on a board, manage records, tasks and forms.
CompanyReview and teach Wyra about your business.
SettingsAI SDRs, mailboxes, integrations, calling, meetings, team and billing.

Campaigns built from your own list of companies or people are created in the campaign builder.

Getting the most out of Wyra

  • Teach it like you'd brief a new hire. The more Wyra knows about your offers, customers and proof, the better its trends, messages and replies.
  • Invest in your offerings. They decide what Wyra can say, and what it can answer on its own.
  • Clear Action required daily. These are the conversations that need you, often the warmest ones.
  • Look at who was left out. A campaign's prospect pool shows why each person qualified or was disqualified. It's the fastest way to tune a persona.
