Referenceable customers and proof

On this page

Buyers reply to names and results they can check. Referenceable customers is where you decide which customers Wyra may mention, and how. Wyra only names a customer you've said yes to.

One rule, everywhere. What you choose here applies to every channel: emails, LinkedIn messages, replies, campaign messages and drafts in Chat. A customer you haven't cleared is never named.

Where to see your customers

Open Company → Intelligence. The Referenceable customers panel on the Overview lists every customer Wyra knows about, from your website, your artifacts and what you've told it. Each row shows:

  • Customer: the name and logo, with industry, size and country where Wyra knows them.
  • Outreach can say: how Wyra may mention them, and the proof line beneath.
  • Proof: the case study or page that backs it up.

The counts in the panel's header filter the list. Click one again, or All customers, to clear it.

The choices

Outreach can sayWhat Wyra does
By nameMay name the customer and cite their results.
Without the nameDescribes the customer anonymously, for example "a regional bank in the UK", and can still use their results.
Not at allLeaves this customer out of outreach.
Not a customerRemoves them from your customers. Use it when Wyra has picked up a partner or a prospect by mistake.
Not decidedAwaiting a choice. Wyra keeps them unnamed.

To decide, open the Decide menu on the row and pick an answer. You can change it at any time.

Some rows show a lock. These are stories you published anonymously, such as a case study on your website. Wyra always keeps them anonymous, because that's how you published them.

Add a customer

Wyra can only cite customers it knows about. To add one that's missing:

  1. Click Add a customer in the panel's header.
  2. Enter the customer's name and website. The website lets Wyra match the company in its own data.
  3. Optionally add a case study: upload a file or paste a link.
  4. Save, then decide how Wyra may mention them.

Add proof

A name is good; a name with a result is better. When a cleared customer is missing proof, the row offers Add proof. Paste a link to a case study or a page about your work with them, or pick something you've already uploaded under Artifacts, then click Use as proof.

The row shows Reading… while Wyra reads it, then fills in the proof line: the problem, the outcome and what outreach can say. If reading fails, click Read again, or upload the file.

Case studies you upload under Artifacts are linked to the customers they mention automatically, and each artifact shows the same Reference setting for its customer. Changing it there changes it here.

Who can decide

People with the Org Admin or Settings Manager role decide how customers are mentioned and add customers and proof. Wyra may also ask about a customer in Wyra's questions, and the answer is saved here. Everyone else can see the list.

Why it matters

  • Sharper outreach. Wyra can point a prospect to a customer like them, in their industry or country.
  • Better Reach. Wyra uses your named customers to count the accounts that look like them.
  • Readiness. Customers you let Wyra name, case studies and customer quotes raise the Proof area.

Set-up asks you to decide on at least three customers. Start with your strongest, and give each one a case study.
