Getting Wyra running takes an afternoon. Most of it is telling Wyra about your business and creating your AI SDRs. Wyra sets up your email sending for you, and everything else can be tuned as you go.

This checklist is in the order it pays off. The first four steps get you to a live campaign. The rest make every campaign after that work harder.

1. Tell Wyra about your company

Everything Wyra writes starts from what it knows about you. Give it your website, your company name and your LinkedIn page, and it reads your site, looks for your case studies and partners, and builds your company picture. Then work through Set-up on the Company page: what you sell, the segments and markets you serve, your customers, your partner profiles and credentials, and how you sell.

  • Why it matters: your offerings, the trends Wyra brings you and the messages it writes all draw on this picture.
  • Make it count: mark which customers Wyra may name in outreach, and upload your best case studies and decks under Artifacts. Wyra only names a customer you've said yes to.
  • After set-up: Wyra keeps learning and asks you a few questions as it goes. Answer them when they appear on the Overview.

2. Your mailboxes and domains

Wyra sets up separate sending domains and mailboxes for you, so your main company domain stays protected. You'll see them under Settings → Infrastructure, including which ones are still warming up.

Sending starts on day one. Email and LinkedIn each have a warm-up period of about 14 days, with some activity from the start and full capacity after it, so messages land in inboxes. You can launch campaigns straight away. A slow first two weeks is expected.

3. Create your AI SDRs and connect LinkedIn

An AI SDR is a sender on your team, usually one per salesperson. Create yours under Settings → AI SDRs:

  1. Click the add card, enter your business email and your personal LinkedIn profile URL. Wyra fills in your name, title and photo.
  2. Add your email signature.
  3. Connect LinkedIn from the AI SDR card. Each person connects their own, because it uses their own sign-in details. Until LinkedIn is connected, the AI SDR sends email only. Wyra adds LinkedIn as soon as it's connected.
  4. Add your calendar link (Calendly, HubSpot or any booking tool). When a prospect wants to talk, Wyra sends it.
  5. Check the Sending Schedule: the days, hours and timezone the AI SDR sends email in.

When the card shows Ready to Engage!, the AI SDR can be added to campaigns. Your subscription sets how many AI SDR seats you have.

4. Build your first offering and campaign

Open Chat and ask Wyra to build an offering for what you want to sell, then to plan a campaign for it. Take time over the offering's objection handling: Wyra answers replies on its own only when the offering covers the answer.

5. Set up your pipeline

Interested prospects become opportunities in the Wyra CRM. Set up your pipelines and stages under Settings → Pipelines. If your team already works in Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho or Monday.com, connect it under Settings → Integrations.

If you sell with AWS

Connect AWS Partner Central under Settings → Integrations to share opportunities with AWS. You attach one pipeline, map its stages and choose which AWS opportunities to bring in. After that, AWS changes only when you say so: your edits go when you click Push to AWS, and each stage move asks whether to move AWS too.

6. Set up the meeting notetaker

Wyra can join your meetings to record, transcribe and summarise them, and suggest updates to your opportunities. Under Settings → Meetings, choose which meetings it joins and how it announces recording and asks for consent. Wyra joins as Wyra Notetaker, and recordings are kept for 30 days. Then invite Wyra to a meeting, or use Invite Wyra on the Meetings page.

7. Set up calling

Calling turns replies and warm prospects into conversations. Request access from the Calling page, then get a phone number for each AI SDR under Settings → Calling.

You choose the country for each number, and every country has its own regulations. Before a number is issued, you submit the details and documents that country requires, in Wyra, while getting the number. What's needed depends on:

  • The country. For example, local numbers in Germany are only issued to businesses, with an address in the area the number covers. In the UK you need a UK address. In Australia you need an Australian address and an ABN or ACN.
  • The type of number. Local, national, mobile and toll-free numbers in the same country often have different requirements. If one type is hard to qualify for, another may be easier.
  • Who the number is for. Businesses usually provide a company registration document, a business address and an authorised representative. Individuals usually provide a government ID and proof of address.
Get it right first time. Names and addresses must match exactly across every document. Proof of address should be recent (usually within the last three months), and P.O. boxes or virtual addresses aren't accepted. Review normally takes a few business days. Keep your details current: regulators and carriers can disconnect numbers registered with information that is wrong or out of date.

Once you have numbers, call prospects from Interactions with the built-in dialer. Wyra looks up phone numbers for you through your integrations, and recorded calls come with a transcript and a summary.

8. Invite your team

Invite colleagues under Settings → Members and give each the role that fits. AI SDR seats are created under Settings → AI SDRs (each one takes a seat). Invitations expire after 7 days.
