Using Chat

Written by the Wyra team · Last updated September 2026

Chat is where you talk to Wyra. Ask about your campaigns, leads, AI SDRs and company, have Wyra plan and launch a campaign, or work on your CRM. Wyra reads what it needs and answers. Anything that would change something arrives as a card, and nothing happens until you approve it.

Where it lives

Open Chat from the sidebar.

Click Chat in the left sidebar. Chat is in beta, and it carries a Betabadge. Anyone who can see the Dashboard can use it. What Wyra can read or change for you follows your role: if your role can't see or change something, Wyra can't either, and it tells you so.

A new chat opens with a greeting and a message box. Under the box, a few starter prompts such as Draft an offering from scratch drop straight into the box when you click them. Press Enter to send and Shift+Enter for a new line.

Check the important details

Once a conversation is under way, a line under the message box reminds you that AI can make mistakes. Wyra reads your real data before it answers, but look over anything that matters before you act on it.

What you can ask

Ask in your own words. Wyra looks it up.

You don't need special commands. Ask the way you would ask a colleague, and Wyra reads what it needs before it answers. Reading never needs your approval.

Your campaigns

Which campaigns exist and what state each is in, plus one campaign's AI SDRs, offerings, persona, tone, and when it last ran. Wyra can also check how many emails a campaign's AI SDRs can send today.

A campaign's leads

The people a campaign has already found and enriched: name, job title, company, and score band. Wyra shows a page of them beside the total, so you know it's a sample, not the whole list.

A message for one lead

Name a lead and Wyra writes the message that person would receive, using what it knows about them. It's a preview only. Nothing is sent.

Message frameworks

Wyra can draft an email or LinkedIn framework for an offering and save it for later once you approve it, if your role can create frameworks.

Your AI SDRs

Who your AI SDRs are and which channels each one covers.

Your company

What Wyra's research says about your company: a summary of what it does, your ideal customer profile, and your known competitors.

Your artifacts

The case studies, decks and proposals you've uploaded. Wyra can list them and read one, and checks the document itself before quoting it.

A web page

Paste a link to a public page, such as a prospect's site or a competitor's pricing page, and Wyra reads it and works from what it says.

A “why now” angle

Suggested reasons a buyer should act now, based on one of your offerings and, if you give them, the job titles and location you're targeting.

How Wyra works

Product questions, such as where a setting lives or what a limit is. Wyra answers from its own product knowledge and says so when it doesn't have the detail.

When a question needs an offering and you haven't named one clearly, Wyra shows your offerings as choices in the conversation. Pick the one you mean. Nothing is saved until you pick one.

Approval cards

Nothing happens until you approve.

When Wyra wants to create or change something, such as a campaign, an offering, a framework or a CRM record, it doesn't do it. It puts a card in the conversation that shows exactly what it proposes, marked needs your approval.

1

Read the card. Want something different? Say so, and Wyra sends a revised card that replaces the waiting one.

Revise as many times as you like

2

Click the card's approve button to go ahead, or Discard to drop it. You can also answer in words, such as "yes, go ahead" or "no, drop that".

If Wyra isn't sure you meant yes, it asks rather than guessing

3

A line appears under the card saying what happened and what comes next.

The decision stays in the conversation when you come back to it

Moving on cancels the card

If you leave a card unanswered and ask about something else, the card is marked not saved and can no longer be approved. A proposal never waits around to be approved by accident later. Ask Wyra again when you're ready.

Campaigns

Plan, launch, pause and resume campaigns.

Tell Wyra what you want to sell, to whom, and from which AI SDRs. It asks only for what it can't work out, one question at a time, and fills in the rest with defaults you can change. Then it moves through a short run of cards.

New campaign plan

Shows how many offerings and AI SDRs the campaign uses, who it targets (job titles, locations, industries, company size, keywords, exclusions), and what they receive (channels, tone, language). Any Gaps to close are listed too. Click the card to read the whole plan, including the idea, in a side panel. Approve plan keeps it in this conversation. No campaign is created yet.

Save this as a campaign?

Save draft creates the campaign as a draft. Nothing is sent, and the draft can still be changed.

Launch this campaign?

Shows the campaign's offerings, AI SDRs and, when Wyra can measure it, today's sending Capacity per day. Launch campaign starts it: Wyra begins finding prospects and sending. Launching a plan that isn't saved yet saves and launches it in one step.

Pause, resume or stop

Ask to pause or resume a campaign and Wyra shows its current status on a card. Pause campaign can be undone later. Resume campaign restarts sending today.

To change a plan, just ask. Wyra sends an Update the campaign plan card with the change summarized at the top. A campaign that has launched must be paused before its plan can be changed.

Stopping is permanent

Wyra can also stop a campaign, and the card warns you first: a stopped campaign can never be restarted, and the only way forward is a new campaign. To take a break, pause instead.

CRM and AWS

Work on your CRM and your AWS deals.

Chat can read your Wyra CRM: list and count companies, people, opportunities, tasks and notes, open one record with its recent history, and show what Wyra has researched about a person. It can also draft new records, changes, deletions and notes. Each one arrives as a card, and nothing is written until you approve it. Deleted opportunities and tasks can't be recovered, and Wyra says so before you approve. You see and change only what your CRM role allows.

When you're working on a record, the CRM assistant beside your CRM is often the quicker place. It already knows which record you're looking at and shares the same conversations as Chat.

Your CRM

Records, deals, tasks and notes, and the assistant docked beside them.

Using the CRM assistant

AWS Partner Central

Once your organization has connected AWS Partner Central, Chat can look up a deal by its AWS opportunity ID, check your connection, ask AWS's own Partner Central agent about a deal, and propose sending a person to AWS for enrichment. Without the connection, none of this is available.

AWS co-sell

Offerings

Build an offering in conversation.

Chat is where you create offerings. Describe what you sell, shape the draft with Wyra, and approve the card once. Wyra can also list your offerings and read one back to you. Creating an offering walks through it step by step.

Your conversations

Every chat is kept in the list on the left.

The list beside the conversation groups your chats under Pinned, Today, Yesterday and Earlier. Click the + button at the top to start a New chat. The arrow on the divider hides or shows the list when you want more room.

Search chats

Opens a search across your chat titles. Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K elsewhere while you're in Chat. The top row, Start new chat, is always there.

Pin / Unpin

From a chat's menu. Pinned chats stay at the top of the list.

Rename

Edit the title in place. Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel.

Mark as unread

Shows the chat as unread again, so you come back to it.

Delete

Asks you to confirm first. Deleting removes the chat and its whole transcript, and it can't be undone.

While Wyra works

See what Wyra is doing, step by step.

While Wyra is answering, a status line just above the message box says what it's doing, such as Thinking or Writing, with a running time once it takes more than a few seconds.

Each thing Wyra reads or drafts appears as a step in plain English, such as Looking up your campaigns or Read the campaign, with a tick once it's done.

A step that didn't work says so, starting with Couldn't. It never shows a tick.

Some steps leave a button underneath that takes you to the right page in Wyra, such as a person's Insights panel.

Changed your mind mid-answer? Click Stop where the send button was.

Voice, files and artifacts

Dictate a message, and upload files from Artifacts.

Voice dictation

Click the microphone in the message box and speak. Your words appear in the box for you to check before sending. Click it again to stop. The microphone only appears in browsers that support speech input, and your browser may ask for microphone access first.

Artifacts

Artifacts sits at the top of the chat list. Upload your case studies, proposals and decks there, and Wyra can read them in any conversation.

Uploading artifacts

Attachments

You can't attach files to a message yet. The Add files or photos option in the + menu says attachments are coming. Upload files from Artifacts instead.
