Calling lets your team phone prospects from inside Wyra, with the lead's profile and conversation in view. A person on your team places every call from the browser. Wyra looks up the number, logs the call and, when it's recorded, writes the transcript and insights.
Getting access
Calling is switched on for your whole workspace at once, after Wyra reviews a request.
- Click the Phone icon in the top bar (or open Settings → Calling) and click Request access. You can also click the phone icon on any lead's row in Interactions. Your name and email come from your account.
- While Wyra reviews it, the Phone icon shows Pending verification, and the phone icons on lead rows show a small orange clock. Wyra lets you know when it's approved, and Calling unlocks.
- Once approved, Set up your numbers: get a phone number for each AI SDR who will call. See Phone numbers and call configurations and Calling by country: requirements.
Making a call
- Open a lead in Interactions and click the phone number in the lead's header, or click the phone icon on the lead's row. The Make a Call panel opens with the dialer.
- Check Record this call. It starts from your workspace's default, and you can change it for each call. Only recorded calls get a transcript and insights.
- Click Call. The call goes through your computer's microphone and speakers. The first time, your browser asks for microphone access.
- During the call you can mute, or open the keypad to get through a phone menu. Click End to hang up.
The prospect sees the number of the AI SDR whose number you're calling from, the same AI SDR who runs their email and LinkedIn outreach.
Wyra never dials or speaks on a call by itself. Rules on automated calls differ from country to country, and prospects would rather talk to a person. Wyra does the research and the logging. Your team has the conversation.
Finding the lead's number
To get the lead's number, click Unlock number. Wyra searches in this order and shows you its progress:
- Wyra's own data.
- The integrations you've connected under Settings → Integrations. These searches can use your own credits with those services, so Wyra asks you to confirm first. Some can take a few minutes. You can leave the page while they run.
- As a last step, Enter number manually.
To use your own data provider, open Settings → Integrations, find Data Providers, click the provider and paste your API key. Wyra checks the key before saving it. Org Admins and the Settings Manager role can connect, update and disconnect providers.
Each number shows where it came from, and when the lead was last searched.
- Wrong number? Flag it. It stays in the list, struck through, and Mark as right undoes the flag.
- Do Not Call numbers are marked and can't be dialled.
- A Verify badge means the number was listed under a different name. Check before calling.
- If you edit the number in the dialer, the button becomes Save & Call, and the corrected number is saved to the lead.
After the call
After a connected call, How was the call? asks for a rating. It's optional, but it sharpens who Wyra suggests calling next.
| Rating | Means |
|---|---|
| 1 · Data failure | The call couldn't happen: wrong or disconnected number, or the lead has left. |
| 2 · Wrong fit | The right person, but the wrong target for this offering. |
| 3 · No traction | A real conversation that stalled: not now, call back later, or only reached a gatekeeper. |
| 4 · Positive | Engaged, with a clear next step short of a meeting. |
| 5 · Interested | Buying intent: a meeting booked, pricing asked for, or an immediate need. |
Pick up to two reasons, add a follow-up date when the reason calls for one, and an optional note of up to 500 characters. Sometimes Wyra rates a recorded call from the transcript. You'll see who rated it, and Correct rating lets you change it.
Where calls show up
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| The lead's timeline | Each call with its outcome, such as Interested, Callback, No answer or Busy, and its duration. Recorded calls add a Transcript and Insights: summary, pain points, objections, interests, next steps, sentiment and outcome. They're ready about a minute after the call. |
| Interactions | The latest call's result shows on the lead's row, so the team can see it at a glance. |
| The Phone icon | Your recent dials. View all calls opens the call logs, filtered by AI SDR. |
| Dashboard → Calling | Dials, connect rate, conversations, talk time, outcomes and each AI SDR's results. |
