If you're an AWS partner, you can co-sell with AWS without leaving Wyra. Connect your AWS Partner Central account once, then share opportunities with AWS from the deal itself, see what AWS says back, and ask AWS what it knows about the people you're selling to.
Before you start
What you need to connect.
Co-sell is part of the AWS Partner Central module, which has to be switched on for your organization. Org Admins can see it under Settings → Feature Modules. You'll also need:
The 12-digit ID of the AWS account your Partner Central is associated with. You'll find it in the AWS Console under the account menu → Account.
Someone who can sign in to that AWS account and create a CloudFormation stack, including an IAM role. If that isn't you, you can start setup, pass the template to your AWS admin, and come back later. Setup picks up where you left off.
An Org Admin or Settings Manager in Wyra to run the setup.
Connect AWS Partner Central
Three steps, starting in Settings.
Open Settings → Integrations. The Co-sell section at the top holds a tile for AWS. Click it to open Set up AWS Partner Central. The wizard has three steps: AWS account, Deploy & test, and Connected.
Enter your 12-digit AWS account ID and click Generate connection details
Wyra works out the IAM role and creates a one-time secret for your workspace. You never paste a role ARN.
Download the CloudFormation template Wyra shows you
It's already filled in for your workspace, so there's nothing to copy or paste. Download it, or copy it and save it as wyra-ace-setup.yaml. Show full template lets you read it first.
In the AWS account, open CloudFormation → Create stack → With new resources, choose Upload a template file, and pick the file
Don't choose "With existing resources (import resources)" — that option can't create anything.
Leave every parameter at its pre-filled value, tick the IAM acknowledgement, and create the stack
The stack creates an IAM role that lets Wyra work with your Partner Central opportunities. Wait for CREATE_COMPLETE, which takes about two minutes.
Back in Wyra, click Test connection
Wyra checks it can use the role and reach Partner Central. When it can, you move to the Connected step.
Changing the AWS account
On the deploy step, Change AWS account takes you back to the first step. Continuing from there generates a new secret, so you'll need to redeploy or update the stack with the new template before you test again.
Connection status
How to tell it's connected.
The AWS tile in Settings → Integrations shows where the connection stands. Hover it to see the AWS account ID.
Connect
No setup started yet. Click the tile to begin.
Setup incomplete
Connection details were generated, but the connection hasn't passed a test yet. Open the tile to finish deploying and testing.
Connected
Wyra is syncing with AWS Partner Central, both ways. The Connected step shows the AWS account and when it last connected.
Connection error
A connection check couldn't reach AWS. If the connection had worked before, your setup is unchanged and nothing was removed.
When a working connection starts failing, the Connected step shows AWS Partner Central connection check failed with the reason AWS gave. Usually the IAM role or its trust changed. Redeploy the Wyra CloudFormation stack in the same AWS account, using a fresh download of the template from that page, and the next sync picks it up. There's nothing to press afterwards.
Until the connection is working, the CRM shows a banner across the top: either Set up AWS Partner Centralor, for a connection that's failing its check, Review connection. Both take you to Integrations.
Disconnecting
On the Connected step, click Disconnect AWS account and type the account ID to confirm. Wyra forgets the IAM role and your workspace's secret and stops syncing with Partner Central. Opportunities and companies already synced stay in Wyra. To reconnect later, you'll deploy a new stack with a fresh template.
Share an opportunity
Share a deal from its AWS tab.
Open an opportunity in the CRM and click the AWS tab. Without a connection, the tab shows what co-sell adds to a deal and a Co-sell with AWSbutton that takes you to Integrations. Once you're connected, it asks first: Share this opportunity with AWS.
Click Share with AWSto open the Partner Central form for the deal. Nothing goes to AWS at this point. It's sent when you push. The panel spells out what AWS will receive: the customer's company and address, the project and use case, the deal size and close date, and your contact details.
Not an AWS co-sell opportunity yet
If the tab shows this message instead of the form, the deal couldn't be registered with Partner Central. Only deals on your workspace's AWS co-sell pipeline can be shared. Check the connection in Settings → Integrations, then reopen the opportunity.
The form follows the order of Partner Central's own create-opportunity steps: Customer details, Project details, APN programs, Deal size estimate, Additional details, and Contact details. A step bar stays at the top while you scroll. Your edits save on their own, so there's no save button. Wyra fills in what it already knows: the company, the website from the company's domain, the address, the close date and stage from the deal, and the deal owner as your partner contact.
AWS needs these before it will accept the deal:
Customer details
Company, Website, Industry and Country. A postal code wherever the country uses one, and a state for US customers.
Co-sell needs
What you want from AWS on this deal. Choose all that apply. Sharing for tracking only isn't available from Wyra yet, so every deal you share is a co-sell.
Project
Opportunity type, Partner project title, Sales activities, Customer business problem (at least 20 characters), Use case, and Delivery model.
Target close date
Taken from the deal's close date. It must be in the future.
Deal size estimate
The monthly recurring revenue (MRR) you expect the customer to spend with AWS, entered by hand.
Stage
Taken from the deal's stage. A Closed lost reason is needed when the stage is Closed Lost.
Push to AWS
One button sends the deal, and every change after.
When the form is ready, click Push to AWS at the right of the step bar. If anything's missing, Wyra marks each field that needs fixing and scrolls you to the first one. Otherwise you'll see Sending your changes to AWS…
Pushing is the one action for every stage of the deal. Use it again whenever you change something AWS should know about.
If AWS isn't accepting changes to the deal at that moment, Wyra tells you with AWS didn't take the update.
If the push fails after it's sent, a banner above the form says Couldn't create the opportunity or Couldn't submit to AWS, with the reason and when it was attempted. Fix what it names and push again.
Check before the first push
Once AWS has an opportunity, it can't be deleted from Partner Central, and AWS keeps the customer contacts you send. Look the form over before you push it the first time.
Review statuses
Where AWS's review stands.
AWS reviews every opportunity it receives. Its verdict shows as Opportunity statuson the deal's AWS tab, and in the Statuscolumn of the Opportunities table. Deals that aren't shared show a dash there.
While a deal is locked, Push to AWS disappears and the Edit buttons on the form are disabled. Hover one to see why.
What comes back
After the push, the tab shows what AWS says.
Once AWS has the opportunity, an Overview card leads the AWS tab. It mirrors Partner Central's own overview. A dash means AWS hasn't reported that value yet, which is common early on.
Opportunity ID
AWS's own ID for the deal: an O followed by digits.
AWS stage
Where AWS has the deal in its own process.
AWS close date
The close date AWS is working to.
AWS recommended actions
AWS's suggested next steps for the deal.
Co-sell motion
Co-sell with AWS, based on the co-sell needs you chose.
Opportunity status
AWS's review verdict, as described above.
The card also shows the stage, owner, customer, ownership, and any closed-lost reasons. Change stage moves the deal, and Clone opportunity copies it and opens the copy's AWS tab, ready to check and push.
Below the card, the form becomes a read-only view of what AWS holds, one step at a time. Click Edit on a section to change it, then push.
When AWS changes the review status or its stage, a line appears on the deal's timeline, for example “AWS set the review status to Approved”.
If AWS's stage and yours disagree, a warning at the top of the deal says so: “AWS reports this opportunity as … — your stage says …”. Review the AWS tab to reconcile the two.
AWS Insights
Ask AWS what it knows about a person.
Open a person in the CRM and click the AWS Insights tab. The person needs a linked company. Click Enrich with AWS to send them to Partner Central as a lead. AWS matches their account from the company's website, and the results appear on the tab, usually within a minute. The tab tells you where things stand while you wait.
Lead readiness
AWS's confidence level for this lead. AWS returns one for very few contacts, and only when the person has a phone number, so a missing score is normal.
Solution score and In-market for
What AWS's signals say the account is shopping for. It's about the account, not a fit score for what you sell.
AWS segment, Territory, Company size, Sub-industry
How AWS sees and books the account.
Eligible programs
AWS programs the account qualifies for, or None identified by AWS.
Only the fields AWS returned are shown, and that varies from account to account.
AWS matched a different-looking account
AWS can match the wrong company. When the account it matched doesn't look like the person's company, the tab warns you and names both. Verify before acting on those signals. A clean company website on the company record gives AWS the best chance of a correct match.
Ask Chat
Ask about AWS deals in plain words.
Once you're connected, Chat and the CRM assistant can help with co-sell. Give Chat an AWS opportunity ID (an O followed by digits) and it finds the matching deal in your CRM. It can also check whether your connection is healthy. On a deal in the CRM assistant, What does AWS say?puts your question to AWS's own Partner Central agent and relays the answer, attributed to AWS. If AWS's agent wants to change anything, or Chat suggests sending a person for enrichment, you get a card to approve first.
