Wyra reads every reply your campaigns get and handles the ones it can, using what you've given it. Anything else becomes Action required, and a person steps in.
How Wyra decides
Wyra runs conversations from your offering and its objection handling. When a reply fits what you've taught it, Wyra answers. When a reply goes beyond that, or contradicts it, Wyra hands it to you to answer. That's the whole rule.
The five kinds of reply
| Reply | What Wyra does |
|---|---|
| Interested | Follows up. If the prospect wants to talk, it sends your AI SDR's calendar link. |
| Not interested | Sends a polite acknowledgement and stops outreach to that person. |
| Out of office | Wyra stops emailing them, whatever the return date. Emails stay stopped after they're back. LinkedIn carries on as planned. |
| Unsubscribe | Stops all outreach to that person and to their company's email domain, in every campaign. See Unsubscribe list. |
| Action required | Alerts you to reply yourself. |
When Wyra answers questions on its own
Prospects often ask about pricing, features, integrations or proof. Wyra answers only when your offering covers the answer. Otherwise, the reply becomes Action required. So the more complete your offering and its objection handling, the more conversations Wyra can carry for you.
Replies that need judgement also become Action required. For example:
- "Talk to my colleague Sam instead." Wyra never contacts the person they refer you to.
- "Try me next quarter."
- "Yes, if you can do it for half the price."
One more case: when a prospect proposes a meeting time or sends their own booking link, Wyra checks with you. The lead stays Interested, and Wyra notifies you so you can confirm the time.
How you're alerted
When a reply becomes Action required, you get an email and an in-app notification. If it's still waiting, Wyra reminds you again after about two days and again after five. The Waiting on you panel on the Email and LinkedIn dashboards lists these replies too.
Working Action required
- In Interactions, open Filters and choose Action required. Or click the Action required pill in a lead's profile.
- Open the lead and read the thread.
- Either reply yourself (below), or click Resolve and choose Interested or Not interested, with an optional note for your team. Resolving changes the status only.
Replying yourself
You can reply to any lead, whatever its status.
- Open the lead and click Reply by, then choose Email or LinkedIn. LinkedIn is only available once you're connected with the person.
- Wyra drafts a reply from the whole conversation. Edit it, or write your own. For email you can change the subject and add CC recipients. Always read the draft before sending.
- For an Action required lead, pick the outcome after sending: Interested or Not interested. Wyra updates the status when the reply goes.
- Send with the send button, or ⌘+Enter (Ctrl+Enter).
When you answer a prospect's reply yourself, you take over: Wyra stops all its automated messages to that person. The conversation is yours from then on.
You can also ask Wyra in Chat to draft the reply:
- "Show me everything waiting on me today."
- "Draft a reply to Priya at Northwind offering two times next week."
Wyra drafts it in Chat, and Reply opens your message box with the text filled in, so you send it yourself.
Turning auto-replies off
Auto-replies are on for every campaign unless you turn them off. To answer every reply yourself:
- When you build a campaign, switch off Automated replies on the review step.
- For a running campaign, click Stop auto-replies on the campaign page. Resume auto-replies turns them back on.
- Or ask Wyra in Chat: "Stop auto-replies on the Healthcare CIO campaign."
With auto-replies off, Wyra still reads and sorts every reply and alerts you to answer it. Outreach to everyone else carries on as planned.
To stop automated emails and LinkedIn messages to just one person, use Do not disturb on their row in Interactions.
